Hello Sir,(Professor. Ravi Narayan Chakrakodi)
I am Pushpa from Queen of Hills, The Nilgiris, Tamilnadu.
I am residing in a remote village Sogathorai near Coonoor. My husband is an Ex-serviceman. We are a joint family. I am blessed with two lovely sons. My elder son is doing his final year of B. Sc. Film Direction at Whistling Woods in Mumbai. My younger son is also in his final year of B. E Civil at PSG in Coimbatore. I love my parents. They are role models to me. They worked hard. We are five siblings. They always help me and guide me. We are devotees of Lord Basavanna.
I am working in a rural middle school 20 km away from my home. I struggled a lot to reach my school because of the lack of transport facilities. I learned to drive a car. But our children are climbing 150 steep steps regularly.
I like my profession. I love my students. Since 2010, I have brought the 'I Can' spirit among students through Design For Change, Project-Based Learning, ICT, and ZIIEI projects.
From you, I want to learn the nuances of writing in ICT.
One of my students S. Sivaranjini has won the National level I Can award for the Design For Change project Say No to Drinks. 4 of the other students received the NMMS National Means Merit Scholarship.
In 2014 SCERT Tamilnadu selected my paper presentation on Effective Classroom Practices to enable the students for the 21st century.
During the Pandemic, I contributed more than 20 videos related to Phonics drills, handwriting, and songs in TNTP. So far I have received 10 certificates as a part of recognition from the Tamil Nadu Teachers Platform.
Expectations from the course:
Thank you,
I am Pushpa from Queen of Hills, The Nilgiris, Tamilnadu.

I am in the urge to speak English fluently and correctly with confidence. That is my expectation from these 30 days of CELT training.
From you, I want to learn the nuances of writing in ICT.
In 2001, I joined in government school as a secondary grade teacher. In 2008 I was promoted as a B. T. I have rendered 20 years of teaching experience at rural schools. I am handling English subjects to the interior rural area downtrodden students. I facilitate the children from 6 std to 8 std. Due to the pandemic, I am taking online classes for children from 1 to 8 classes for basic language skills.
Until June I wasn't aware of uploading videos on the Youtube channel. I learned from the Top Teachers of Tamilnadu star teachers SCERT WhatsApp group, and as of now, I have uploaded more than 75 videos for the well-being of students. I am contributing songs, Tongue Twisters in Online Kalvi (educational )Radio too.
Expectations from the course:
As I studied in Tamil medium school and did my degrees through correspondence, I felt shy to communicate. So I can understand my student's hesitation towards English.
It's a great opportunity for me to learn innovative ideas and techniques to update myself and cascade the same to my students.
I should speak grammatically correct English fluently and with confidence.
Sir, I need to know various ways to improve my writing skills with and without ICT.
Yours sincerely,
Pushpa D
